A native of Australia, Patrick Wanis, PhD engrosses audiences with passion, conviction and sincerity with his blend of the strong masculine (Dr. Phil); the warm, compassionate feminine (Oprah); and the clinical inquisitive scientific mind (Dr. Drew). Anointed “The Woman Expert” by WGN Chicago and syndicated TV show The Daily Buzz, Wanis is a renowned Celebrity Life Coach, Human Behavior & Relationship Expert, SRTT therapist and author with extensive credits worldwide. When Michael Jackson died, CNN.com turned to Wanis for his expert insights and analysis of Jackson’s life, and published on its homepage his article “Forgiveness for Casey Anthony?” Wanis also teaches patients at Milestones Ranch Malibu Residential Treatment Center and he is the first person ever to do hypnotherapy on national TV – on the Montel Williams show.
A history of caregiving
You might say Patrick Wanis was born into the field of therapy and counseling – not because his parents were psychiatrists but because they desperately needed one! At age 11, Patrick was thrust into the role of caretaker and was handed the responsibility of his newborn brother, and soon after his second newborn brother. Patrick changed their diapers, disciplined and guided them, essentially, raising them. Patrick did the same for his parents (sans the diapers.) One day when 10-year-old Patrick was crying, his mother said “Don’t cry, you are my tower of strength.” That was a turning point for young Patrick, when he became strong for ‘other’ people.
Patrick was groomed into the role of therapist by and for his family. His innate sense of caring, empathy and compassion became apparent early on as he cared for his ailing grandmother, who lived with them until her death. Whenever his father experienced anxiety, jealousy and insecurity, he would rely on teenage Patrick for advice while Patrick’s mother would treat him, at times, like a spouse. As young as age 21, Patrick would mediate marital arguments between the two.

Hi Patrick
BBC World Service radio are debating the latest round of Tiger Woods apologies this evening and are interested in speaking to you about your possible participation. Please email me your number so I can give you a call to discuss further should you be interested in finding out more.
All the best
Hi Patrick,
I got an email talking about The Subconscious Rapid Transformation Technique (SRTT), and i am interested in learning more about this technique.
Could you please give me more detail about how this training calls take place? I live outside USA and international calls are expensive for me, so i wonder if you use a chat room through the internet to have these calls or one has to call a phone number?
I have had experience with PSYCH-K,does SRTT work in a similar way? Is there a place where I could learn more about how SRTT works?
I would appreciate more information,
Thanks for your time and answer,
Marina
Dear Marina,
thanks for writing to me.
Have you watched the 22-minute video I recorded explaining my technique? http://www.patrickwanis.com/srtt
The video will answer most of your questions.
We may use a kind of webinar setting but even if we do not, all the calls will be recorded and posted online so that you can listen to them the following day and that way you won’t have to pay for any international phone calls.
I am not fully fmailiar with Psych – K; I can say that my tecnique is more than simply shifting or transfrorming beliefs, it is also about letting go and releasing the attached emotions – that way the client experiences full transformation and does not carry negative emotions.
I hope this answers your questions. After you have watched the video, please let me know if you have any questions, but please hurry as I am only accepting 15 people.
All the best,
Patrick
I have just read your comments on CNN about forgiveness to Casey Anthony. I agree with you for the most of part if this is just a domestic matter. However, when you mentioned in your article that anger would not bring little Caylee back, though it is true, have you ever thought about what kind of message that the outcome of this case will deliver to children who are still beaten or mistreated by their dysfunctional families and what kind of value we, society as whole, represent, that the murder suspect mom, not only can walk away free, and should receive forgiveness, book deals and make millions over her dead child. Cases after cases, the outcomes of the court do not mean justice have been served. In my opinion, anger is good thing in this case, as you mentioned, because of the anger, Caylee’s law may adapt by more states. Hope the grassroots anger will grow bigger each day, the people’s court will bring some justice for the little helpless Caylee, and together, we shall prevent any blood money to be made by the catastrophic (to say the least) mom.
