Crying and punching pillows does not heal your issues!

Why do most therapies fail?

Reliving painful emotions in therapy does not heal you!

Traditional therapy teaches that to release emotion, one should cry or express that emotion. And yet it fails. Crying doesn’t heal the issue, nor does punching a pillow!

Traditional therapy doesn’t focus on getting to the root cause of the issue. And if it does get to the root cause, traditional therapy doesn’t know how to remove that cause, nor does it know how to release the emotions.

SRTT does, though!

Clifton Brantley, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, interviews Patrick Wanis PhD creator of SRTT (Subconscious Rapid Transformation Technique) to learn more about SRTT and why it effectively releases emotion in a safe and easy manner without reliving pain or trauma and, why and how it gets to the root cause of the issue and emotion.

Clifton Brantley experienced an SRTT session with Patrick Wanis and Clifton says he is shocked by how effective it was – getting extraordinary results without reliving any pain or trauma – and he says that in less than 2 hours he achieved more than 6 sessions of traditional therapy! Watch his video testimonial below and watch the video testimonial further below by Jill who spent 2 years in anger management but it failed, and then she came to Patrick Wanis and in 2 SRTT sessions, he helped Jill clear out a lifetime of anger!

Here is a brief excerpt from the interview with Patrick Wanis:

It’s important to understand that experiencing more of the same emotion does not neutralize or release the emotion, nor does it get to the root cause of the emotion.

That means there’s an incident, there’s a thought, a belief that is creating this emotion. And just experiencing more of that emotion or expressing more of that emotion will not change the subconscious belief, the subconscious incident or the subconscious thought or perspective that created this emotion.

So to release that emotion I don’t just ask someone to just express more of that emotion, nor do I encourage them to cry over that emotion. Instead, I use a special process – a really simple and highly effective process – which you, too Clifton, have experienced to release that emotion. And again, it’s not done by reliving pain, reliving trauma or expressing more of that same emotion.

And having said that, I do though still encourage people to get in touch with what they are feeling. You’ve got to also have emotional intelligence – that means emotional awareness. Be aware of what you are actually feeling: is it anger? Is it sadness? Is it loss? Is it hurt? Is it disappointment? Is it rejection? Is it invalidation? Is it a sense of worthlessness, etc.?

Yes you’ve got to get clear about that.

However, asking you to express that emotion and make you feel it in your body is not helpful to you, and it doesn’t relieve you of the actual cause, it doesn’t neutralize the emotion, it doesn’t release the emotion, it doesn’t remove the emotion. Crying can make you temporarily feel better and then when you walk out of the office, when you’re back home, you’ll just end up reliving that pain and that negativity again. Why? Because unless you clear out the root cause of that emotion, you’ll keep re-experiencing it.

And I’ve had many clients come to me saying that they’ve done other forms of therapy, they’ve been in those sessions, and they are encouraged to release the emotion, to cry to express it, to express their anger, and then when they go home they feel exactly the same! They haven’t released the actual root cause of the issue and of the emotions.

Listen now to the full interview with Patrick Wanis’ insights directly below.

And watch this video testimonial by Jill who in just 2 SRTT sessions by Patrick Wanis was freed of the anger she held onto since childhood.

Kanye West Bipolar, Narcissism & Trauma? Sleep deprivation, exhaustion, manic episodes with depressive episodes

It was reported that Kanye West had been put on 5150 psychiatric hold and later it was reported that Kanye West voluntarily admitted himself to hospital.

According to TMZ, “Kanye West’s personal physician is the one who called 911, warning the dispatcher Kanye was not violent but would become violent when police arrived to help him. Law enforcement sources tell us, the call came in as a male with mental illness. Dr. Michael Farzam said his patient’s name was ‘Jim Jones, 39 years old, 5’8″, 175 lbs … suffers from temporary psychosis due to sleep deprivation and dehydration.’ According to the police report the doctor told cops he had placed Kanye on a 5150 psychiatric hold and wanted him taken to UCLA Medical Center.”

Listen below as Celebrity Life Coach and Behavior Expert PhD, Patrick Wanis explains what a 5150 psychiatric hold is and the links between “sleep deprivation and exhaustion”, psychosis and Bipolar Disorder, and , what might actually be truly going on with Kanye West and the pattern of his erratic behavior which has been highly evident since the death of his mother in November 2007. Michael Jackson – A Victim

Michael Jackson will probably be remembered as much for his strange and bizarre behavior as his music legacy, genius and talent. But what triggered his antics – dangling a baby over a hotel balcony, numerous plastic surgery and claims that he molested boys? Was it the price of fame or the result of other emotional and psychological issues? Was Michael Jackson another victim of the drug addiction mentality and disorder of Hollywood and the music industry? For example, country singer Tammy Wynette was addicted to Demerol, silent movies actor Wallace Reid died from addiction to morphine, Heath Ledger died from a cocktail of prescription drugs – multiple prescriptions from various doctors, and, the list goes on.

Curtis Kim of KSRO 1350 and CNN radio interviews Celebrity Life Coach and Human Behavior Expert, Patrick Wanis PhD for insight into the mind and emotions of Michael Jackson. In an enlightening and controversial interview, Patrick unfurls shocking revelations about the King of Pop. Patrick reveals that “Michael Jackson was a victim of childhood abuse, a victim of being a childhood star and ultimately a victim of his fame and celebrity. The king of pop was still a little boy lost and hurt.” Patrick also says that abuse as a child leads to feelings of inferiority, anger, hostility, inability to form meaningful relationships in adulthood – primarily because of trust issues. Patrick also states that “Michael antic’s were as much the result of public pressure and criticism as they were his deeper emotional pain and emotional immaturity…He often regressed in his behavior. He was still a child – probably somewhere in pre-pubescence – listen to his voice and the helpless, childlike way he described his encounter when the police searched and stripped him naked following claims that he had molested a boy.”

Heath Ledger’s Death The Real Story?

Famous radio personality, Danny Wright (Wright All Night syndicated radio show) interviews Patrick Wanis for his insights into Heath Ledger’s death. Recorded just a few days after Heath’s death, Patrick Wanis says that his experience, insight and expertise tell him that Heath was suffering from depression. Later, revelations about Heath prove Patrick to be accurate in his comments and summary of Heath. But Patrick goes much further and much deeper into Heath’s psyche, chillingly predicting that much more will be revealed about Heath in the time to come and Patrick is proven correct yet again.

Update: July 27, 2016; Heath Ledger’s father Kim Ledger told a reporter that Heath’s death was entirely his fault because he took the drugs and said that Heath’s sister had warned Heath the night before his death about mixing medications.

“His sister was on the phone to him the night before telling him not to take the prescription medications with the sleeping tablets,” Kim Ledger said.

“He said: ‘Katie, Katie, I’m fine. I know what I’m doing,'” Kim Ledger recalled. “He would have had no idea.”

Eleven million American adolescents and young adults ages 12-29 need help with drug and alcohol problems; 9 million of these are between the ages of 12-25. (2009 National Study on Drugs and Health); 90% of the nearly 2 million adolescents who need help with drug and alcohol problems are not getting the help they need. (2008 National Study on Drugs and Health.)

A shock to most parents – research and real life studies reveal that parents play the biggest role and are the single most critical factor in determining delinquency, youth violence, and drug abuse; yes, even greater than environmental community factors.

Research also reveals that boys who had very low self-esteem in the sixth or seventh grade were 1.6 times more likely to meet the criteria for drug dependence nine years later than other children. It has been revealed that the root causes of the youth’s behavior is the result of the relational conflict within his/her family.

What can parents do to protect their children from drugs and help children who have fallen victim to drugs?

Human Behavior Expert and SRTT Therapist, Patrick Wanis PhD joins Aaron Huey from Fire Mountain Sober Living Home for Teens in Colorado as they explore the link between parents, children, the community and drugs.

Aaron Huey is considered one of the world‘s leading experts in the empowerment of children and families. He has been working with children and parents for over 15 years. His Fire Mountain Sober Living Boys Home is a complete Interruption-Intervention-Integration program. Teens who join this program get the skills to get their lives back on track.

Patrick Wanis PhD and Aaron Huey also reveal:

How parents affect children and their behavior

What parents can do to positively affect their children rather than infect them

How to build a strong relationship within the family

What steps to take to help your children break the drug habit and recover to live a productive and happy life

Profile Of Cat Killers – Sociopaths, Psychopaths Or Victims Of Trauma? Photo: Tyler Weinman, 18, was charged with 19 counts of animal cruelty, 19 counts of improperly disposing of an animal body and four counts of burglary.

A teenager was arrested in a string of cat killings and mutilations in Miami, Florida. Tyler Weinman, 18, of Cutler Bay, Florida, was charged with 19 counts of animal cruelty, 19 counts of improperly disposing of an animal body and four counts of burglary. Police say that some of the cats were skinned or gutted and the corpses left on the lawns or driveways of their owners. What type of person kills and mutilates cats? And why cats?

Weinman’s parents are divorced. His father is a dentist, his mother is a life coach; he has a new step mother, and recently moved in with his father who has a number of cats. Weinman had spent time between homes belonging to his mother and father. Investigators said Weinman was expelled from Palmetto High School at least two years ago and was arrested on undisclosed charges as a juvenile. Could this be the profile of a cat killer – a teenage child, the son of divorced parents?

Celebrity Life Coach and Human Behavior Expert, Patrick Wanis PhD, says this cruel and sadistic behavior is often labeled as Sociopathic or Psychopathic. In some cases, the perpetrator may have witnessed similar acts of cruelty as a child and thus his behavior was learned and programmed: “Henry Lee Lucas was born in Blacksburg, Virginia. At 10 years of age he watched his mother’s live-in boyfriend stab a calf in the neck and have sex with it while it was dying. At age 13 he began catching small animals and skinning them alive for fun. After stabbing, mutilating, and murdering women for over 30 years, at age 47, Lucas is now serving a life sentence in prison.” [Haden & Scarpa (2005). Childhood animal cruelty: a review of research, assessment, and therapeutic issues, The Forensic Examiner 14.2 (Summer 2005): 23(10).]

In other cases, it is believed that the behavior may stem from more than just childhood trauma and may be the result of a neurological dysfunction whereby the person does not have the ability to perceive and feel the pain he is inflicting; he has no sense of guilt, remorse or conscience. This behavior can also extend to “white collar crime” where the victim suffers at the hand of a fraudster or con artist who has no remorse, empathy, conscience or guilt.

Dr. Wanis argues that in most cases, a cat killer or anyone that commits cruelty to animals is often doing so out of rage, anger and pain and he or she was probably the victim of cruelty, abuse or torture at a very young age. Research also suggests that children from extremely violent families commit more serious abuse than others, and there are cases where a violent and sadistic parent may torture the pet of his child as a way to inflict further pain, intimidation and control over a child. The resulting trauma may cause the child to repeat the parents behavior and/or may teach that the child to use cruelty to animals as a means to express or project pain, anger and rage. Research also reveals that there is a link between animal cruelty and subsequent serial crimes against humans.

Russ Morley, host of the morning show on News/Talk 850 WFTL interviews Human Behavior Expert Patrick Wanis PhD, for insights into the motivations, warning signs and characteristics of cat killers and people who commit cruelty and sadistic acts against animals. Patrick Wanis PhD, reveals various possible contributing factors that lead to a person becoming a cat killer and explains why these people often choose to torture cats over dogs. In outlining a cat killer’s profile, Dr. Wanis also reveals that the mutilation and killing of cats is not limited to any one culture and cites a case of a self-confessed serial cat killer inside the University of the Philippines. (Of note, cat-killing is not perceived as serious a crime in the Philippines as it is in other Western countries and thus few people choose to report it to the police.)

John Candare wrote on Multiply, a social media site in the Philippines, that he enjoyed smashing the little kitten’s body to the ground; it died coughing up blood. “On our way out of old np I saw the cat I almost killed last Tuesday. Now everyone knows I hate cats. It’s an unexplainable feeling towards them. Like some internal hatred. I don’t know why but whenever I try to stop myself, I really can’t because I get a kick out of doing these things to cats. I pulled it on its tail and threw it. Then like some pro wrestler I jumped on it and my feet landed on its torso. Slam! Felt good! But the cat didn’t die, well not yet – and I just ended its life. So there you go I’m sorry. And I won’t be striking another one for maybe about a month. It feels good when your beating it (a cat) up but you suddenly feel something strange when it turns off permanently. That’s how I feel right now. And maybe for the next days. Dang, am I a cat serial killer?”

Dr. Wanis reveals some of the common characteristics of Sociopathic and Psychopathic behavior (also known as Antisocial Disorder) including deep seated rage, impulsiveness, a lack of remorse, guilt or shame, incapacity to love, superficial charm, fake or shallow emotions, extreme narcissism, promiscuity, pathological lying, lack of empathy (inability to empathize with the pain of victims), blaming others, secretiveness, paranoia, and manipulative & swindling behavior and actions.

Click below to listen to the interview.

Update: Tyler Weinman, the Palmetto Bay man who was once accused of killing several pet cats, is now suing Miami-Dade County for negligence that led to his false arrest. The case was dropped in 2010 after an expert hired by the defense found that several of the carcasses of the cats had bites caused by a large animal.
