Both suffer from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder is an anxiety disorder that is characterized by an obsessive or distressing thought. It may also involve compulsions or “rituals.” It is such a serious concern that event the World Health Organization has labeled OCD as among the top 10 most disabling illnesses faced by society today. Dear Orma,

thanks for your contribution and insights. Yes, I agree that by identifying our emotions it can lead us to also identify our core beliefs and from there to emotional freedom.
All the best with your book and message.

Patrick

Thanks for all of your inspiring newsletters and articles.

I totally agree with all you’ve written in your self-doubt article. I would like to suggest that our emotions, especially the negative ones if allowed to be just as they are in the present moment and then followed, can lead us to beliefs which need to be disgarded. This practice is not a form of wallowing in self-pity, but is a person being a loving witness with detachment. This process will eventually transmute the negative emotions into joy and peace. I know because I have done it for myself.
I actually wrote a book about it, (The Cup of Joy is Always Full), and I give workshops.

Thanks and best wishes always,

Orma Faye Sullivan
