Mel Gibson Meltdown – Racism, Violence, Death Threats, Money

The purported audio recording of an argument over the phone between Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva, the mother of Mel Gibson’s 8-month-old daughter, reveals Mel Gibson making racist remarks, a death threat and sexist remarks against Oksana Grigorieva.

There is no justification for the threats or remarks that Mel Gibson made to Oksana Grigorieva and there can be no excuses or justification if in fact, he did hit her. Meanwhile, there are still many unanswered questions; questions the police will also be asking. Oksana Grigorieva was in Mel Gibson’s house at the time of the phone call (he says so during the call); Oksana Grigorieva says she is afraid for her life and the life of her child so why didn’t she leave his house immediately? Why didn’t she hang up and call the police immediately? Why did she never release these tapes to the police? The eight-minute phone call is obviously a second phone call between Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva in a matter of minutes as he begins by saying don’t hang up on me which would indicate she had just hung up on him on a prior call. What was said during that prior phone call – did he make other threats? What did they say to each other that got Mel Gibson so worked up?

Oksana Grigorieva claims that Mel Gibson punched her and smashed two of her teeth and says that she told a dentist that Mel Gibson hit her, so why did he not call the police when he is required to so by California law? How did no one else see her bruised face? Mel Gibson was married for 28 years to Robyn Moore and has seven children and two grand children; why has there never been any reports of domestic violence prior to his relationship with his girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva? Was there domestic violence during his marriage to Robin and if so, how was it kept so quiet in Hollywood?

Russ Morley, host of the morning show on News/Talk 850 WFTL interviews Celebrity Life Coach, Human Behavior & Relationship Expert Patrick Wanis, PhD for insights into the Mel Gibson meltdown. Patrick Wanis PhD reveals Mel Gibson’s history with alcohol – dating back to age 13, his homophobic comments in the 1990s, his claims that he is Manic Depressive, his religious fanaticism (it’s alleged he and his wife split over differing religious beliefs), and his father’s influence (he minimizes the Holocaust saying Germany did not have enough gas to kill 6 million Jews.) Patrick Wanis PhD also discusses the controversial element and impact of money: Mel Gibson’s talent agency dropped him as a result of this phone call audio recording but it did not drop him when he made homophobic remarks in the 1990s when Mel Gibson’s career was booming; Mel Gibson’s representatives claim Oksana Grigorieva was trying to extort money from Mel Gibson in order to keep the recording hidden; Oksana Grigorieva signed a document (a form of a pre-nuptial for co-habitants) early on in the relationship with Mel Gibson preventing her from making claims for Gibson’s money and assets but that could all change if she files a civil lawsuit for injuries sustained from the alleged attack by Mel Gibson.
